Basil and Thyme
This cheery little place is a gem in the centre of Delhi. Serving up its lunches to the ladies and occasional gents who frequent the green Santushti shopping complex, it is the perfect complement to the tony boutiques that lie without. It is light and airy with huge plate-glass windows. The food is light as well, with changing daily specials. Try the superb quiche Lorraine and ginger fizz to take the edge off a hard morning’s shopping.
